DISCOVER SIRMIONE, ITS HISTORY AND ITS THERMAL BATHS

With a walk in the direction of the lake, on foot or by bike, or approaching by car or bus you can reach the historic centre of Sirmione to admire the Rocca Scaligera, the marvellous castle that is reflected in the blue waters of the lake, as well as the renowned Grotte di Catullo, an archaeological site that houses the Roman remains in the Museum and where is located the Villa at Lake Garda belonging to the poet and author of the famous poem for his beloved Lesbia: “Give me a thousand kisses, then a hundred. Then, another thousand, and a second hundred. Then, yet another thousand, and a hundred…”.

In the centre of Sirmione you can immerse yourself in the charm of the streets of the village, among the scents of Italian cuisine, browse the summer markets, shop in the many stores and boutiques, or go for a visit to the oldest church of Sirmione, the Langobard church of San Pietro in Mavino, or to the various exhibitions organized at Palazzo Maria Callas, dedicated to the famous opera singer who also lived in Sirmione.

Close to the hotel you shall moreover find the historic and renowned Sirmione Thermal Baths, a thermal treatments centre that, thanks to the properties of salso-bromo-iodic water, provides the whole organism with therapeutic action, in particular to the respiratory, aesthetic treatments, proposals for body and face care and relaxation, as well as various opportunities to rediscover psycho-physical wellness: at a distance of 250 metres you can reach the Centro Termale Virgilio, while 3 km far are located the Centro Termale Catullo e the Centro Benessere Termale Aquaria.
